Project | 01 Reinvent the Physical

In this project, our team learned from users that the annual physical was perceived as unnecessary. We created a new segment of the physical designed for interactive mental health check up to transform the annual physical into a wellness check. Our solution aims to center mental health and empower patients by demystifying the medical process.
Project | 02 Reimagine City Partnerships

I coached a small team in the CIty of San Jose Parks & Recreation department on design methodologies. Using these methods, I lead them to understand the issues their vendors were having and coached them in figuring out potential solutions to implement. One of these, Vendor Day, was actualized and prototyped within a matter of weeks.
Project | 03 TableTop - Menstrual Product

We discovered that the packaging of menstrual pads and the process to replace them in a public restroom were anxiety inducing and ill designed. We created a portable, easy-to-deploy personal sanitary surface for menstruators to be able to use as a working surface and as a wrapper-free carrying container.
Project | 04 Alumni Experience
​
Our team was tasked with creating Technovation's alumni experience. We constructed a multi-path, parallelized, self-directed learning journey for girls who completed the Technovation challenge. After conducting empathy work, we centered the learning experience design around personal reflection and the construction of a living portfolio.
